The Sacrament of Marriage

We are delighted that you have chosen to celebrate your marriage at one of our Blessed Trinity/St. Patrick Churches. In the Roman Catholic tradition, Marriage is a Sacrament. The bride and groom contract their marriage in the presence of God.

Please contact the church office six months to one year before your planned date. After meeting with a member of our pastoral staff your wedding date may be put on the calendar.

Marriage preparation will be required. We offer pre-cana once a year, or, if your prefer, you may choose an Engaged Encounter weekend offered by the Diocese. You may also choose to attend marriage preparation in another parish or another diocese. Please make certain you obtain a certificate verifying your attendance at one of these sessions.
